Caroline Glenn, PharmD, breaks down what peptides actually are, how GLP-1s fit into the bigger picture, and four real stories — migraines, brain fog, blood pressure, and a pharmacist's own transformation — from women who started exactly where you are now.
Prefer to read instead of watch? Everything below is a written recap (not a word-for-word transcript) covering the key stories, science, and takeaways — a great option if you keep meaning to watch the whole replay but haven't found the hour yet.

This call was recorded March 26 — a few big things have happened since. KLOW, a new all-in-one recovery peptide, has launched. CLOVERx's peptides are becoming 100% made in the USA — down to the active ingredient — starting early-to-mid August. And a new reusable, fully-adjustable dosing pen is launching around the same time. None of that existed yet when Caroline recorded this — don't let the date fool you.
If you're brand new to this, start here — everything else on this page builds from these two ideas.
A peptide is a string of amino acids — the same building blocks as protein. Put amino acids together, you get a peptide. Put peptides together, you get a protein. Proteins build organs, organs build organ systems, organ systems build you. Your body has made peptides naturally since the day you were born, using them as messengers that tell your cells to heal an injury, produce insulin, decrease hunger, stimulate muscle, or create energy. As we age — or under chronic stress — that natural production declines. Peptide therapy is about restoring those signals, not introducing something foreign.
Most people hear "peptide" and think it means GLP-1s — the weight loss shots everyone's talking about. But GLP-1 is just one type, called an incretin hormone. It was originally developed for diabetes, then weight loss, and now research keeps finding more benefits: reduced inflammation throughout the body, improvement in autoimmune conditions, and results in people microdosing who don't need or want to lose any weight at all.
Caroline says this directly on the call, and it's worth repeating: where you source your peptides matters as much as which ones you choose.
503A compounding pharmacies are FDA-certified and regulated to compound each prescription individually, specifically for you — not mass-produced. But not all of them operate the same way. Some shop around for the lowest bidder and operate right at the regulatory floor. Caroline has personally vetted just about every compounding pharmacy out there as a clinical pharmacist, and has been burned herself by companies that changed pharmacies on her mid-subscription without notice. EllieMD's pharmacy, CLOVERx, is the one she's found operating at the highest level.
Some sellers will ship you a raw vial of peptide powder and bacteriostatic water and expect you to mix your own dose — no pharmacist, no doctor, no prescription.
"Every doctor, every test, every lab value came back normal — and nobody had answers. Within two weeks of microdosing, I could tell a difference. Nine months later, not one migraine, and I hadn't changed anything else."
"That was the scariest thing to me — my kidney function starting to decline. I work in nephrology, I see what that looks like. It's now functioning at 93%. There's so much more benefit to Tirzepatide than just the weight loss."
"I was grinding at the gym for almost a full year and still struggling with energy and brain fog. Peptides didn't replace the work — they made the grind more graceful."
"My dad's had a pacemaker, defibrillator, heart attacks — I watched myself heading down the same path. By December 1st I was off both blood pressure medications and my cholesterol medication completely. I never thought it was possible."
Semaglutide (like Ozempic or Wegovy) is the older GLP-1 — Caroline calls it "the iPhone 12." Tirzepatide (like Mounjaro or Zepbound) adds a second mechanism as a GLP-1/GIP dual agonist — "the iPhone 17." It's the one she recommends most: better results, fewer side effects. If you've heard someone say they got violently sick on a GLP-1, it was almost always semaglutide or a low-quality source.
Dosing is based on BMI: 21–25 qualifies for a microdose (all the longevity benefits, minimal to no weight loss). 25+ qualifies for the full weight-loss protocol, adjustable monthly with your doctor. Either way, the longevity benefits are the same: reduced inflammation, cardiovascular protection, kidney protection, slowed progression of fatty liver disease, and studies showing decreased risk of dementia.
Both signal your body to produce more of its own growth hormone — safely, since your body's negative feedback loop prevents overproduction (unlike injecting synthetic growth hormone directly, which Caroline doesn't recommend). The difference is in what they emphasize.
Sermorelin mimics your body's natural growth hormone pulse more closely — gentler, with more hormonal support. Better for perimenopause and menopause symptoms like hot flashes, sleep, and energy, plus muscle tone support.
Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin is a stronger pulse, better suited for body composition once you're closer to your weight goal — toning muscle and targeting stubborn visceral fat. It can also be stacked with KPV for extra help with inflammation and gut health.
This is one of the biggest hesitations for people who mean to watch the replay but never quite get there — not knowing what they're signing up for. Here's exactly what happens.
Takes about two minutes, and confirms you're connected to the right brand partner.
This is a real, asynchronous review by an actual doctor — not an instant approval. Simple medical history often means a fast turnaround; more complex history may take a little longer while your doctor reviews.
On the rare occasion a doctor can't prescribe something for you, you're refunded immediately — no back and forth required.
Your peptides arrive in a reusable, insulated bottle kept cold with ice packs — not single-use styrofoam — along with all your injection supplies: alcohol prep pads and needles so fine you'll barely feel them.
Text and email updates the whole way, plus ongoing access to your provider through the patient portal for dosing questions and adjustments.
A quick reference for everything discussed on the call — plus KLOW, which launched after this recording.
The dual-mechanism GLP-1, recommended over semaglutide across the board.
Best for: weight loss, inflammation, cardiovascular and kidney protection.
A coenzyme that creates cellular energy (ATP). Clears brain fog, gives an anti-aging and energy boost. Injection or nasal spray.
Best for: brain fog, fatigue, cognitive clarity.
Gentler growth hormone secretagogue, closely mimics natural GH pulses.
Best for: perimenopause/menopause symptoms, sleep, muscle tone.
Stronger growth hormone pulse, more targeted at visceral fat and toning.
Best for: stubborn belly fat once near your weight goal.
The "Wolverine stack." Regenerative, increases blood supply to injured tissue. Capsule for gut healing, injection for joints and connective tissue.
Best for: chronic/acute pain, arthritis, recovery, leaky gut.
The hair/skin/nails peptide — boosts collagen and speeds wound healing. Note: hair shedding on GLP-1s usually comes from fast weight loss or nutrition gaps, not the medicine itself.
Best for: skin, hair, slow-healing wounds, anti-aging.
Immune-modulating peptide — a favorite for travel, cold/flu season, and general resilience.
Best for: staying well during travel or a sick household.
"Exercise in a bottle" — mimics what exercise does to kickstart your metabolism. Also supports cognition and mental focus.
Best for: a metabolic boost alongside GLP-1s, mental focus.
The body's master antioxidant — neutralizes free radicals, often used as a "clean slate" starting point before layering in other peptides.
Best for: immune support, cellular recovery, calm and focus.
Launched after this call. Four peptides in one vial: BPC-157 and TB-500 for tissue repair, GHK-Cu for collagen, and KPV for gut and inflammatory signaling.
Best for: wanting broad support in a single injection.
